2023: 47,150 PVC  collected so far in Lagos state

The number of Permanent Voters cards (PVC) collected in Lagos state stands at 47,150, NewsSpecng learnt.

The independent national electoral commission released the update of PVC collection for the state as of Saturday. 

According to INEC, of the total number of collections,  25,298 were male  and 21,852 female.

Eti-osa Local government recorded the highest number of collections with 9,277.

Others include; Agege 797, Ajeromi Ifelodun 968, Alimosho 7589, Amuwo Odofin 994, Apapa 572, Badagry 2985, Epe 782, Ibeju Lekki 692, Surulere 2,676, Ifako Ijaye 2,227, Ikeja 2, 678, Ikorodu 2763, Kosofe 2640, Lagos Island 808 Mushin 2412, Ojo 2366, Oshodi Isolo, Somolu 1, 006.

Also , the nation’s electoral body extended the collection date to 29th January. 

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) released the final list of registered voters for the 2023 general election.

In the list made available to political parties, it showed that the total number of registered voters was 93,469,008 

 Lagos State had the highest number of registered voters with 7,060,195 followed by Kano state with 5,921,370.
