No fewer than ten students were abducted by bandits at a Government Secondary School, Awon, Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The day secondary school was attacked on Monday by the bandits, according
Kaduna Commissioner for Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan.
Aruwan in a statement on Tuesday said the State Government received preliminary reports from security agencies regarding the incident.
According to the preliminary reports, the Commissioner said the exact location of the incident is yet to be ascertained.
He said detailed reports were being awaited to clarify whether the incident occurred within the school premises or elsewhere.
