The North Central States of Nigeria notorious bandit leader Ibrahim Battujo has been killed.
According to the Office of the National Security Adviser ONSA, the billionaire daredevil bandit was responsible for the church kidnapping in Kwara, killings and ambushing troops, rustling of millions of cattle and herds, kidnapping individuals.
He met his Waterloo when he organized A school kidnap in Kogi state recently.
But actionable intelligence led to the evacuation of the students writing WAEC to a different site, while giving him a decoy that everything was on track.
He was subsequently ambushed and neutralized by the fierce troops and Elite ONSA tactical team.
His comrades were subdued, making them retreat with his slain body.
Afterwards, the Tactical team of ONSA discovered the burial site of his body based on actionable intelligence and that of his slain comrades.
His body was exhumed for necessary autopsy and DNA matching.
The ONSA is working silently underground eliminating bandits and terrorists leaders as well as cutting of their links of supply of weaponry.
