The 11th season of the Big Brother Naija reality television show premiered on Sunday, introducing 24 housemates who will compete for a record-breaking ₦160 million grand prize.

While viewers are eager to see alliances, rivalries and romance unfold, this year’s contestants are bringing diverse professional backgrounds into Biggie’s house, ranging from healthcare and engineering to entertainment, law and technology.

Goddessa – Musician

Bluethophia – Photographer, model and student

Cassi – Entrepreneur, actor and chiropractic therapist

Hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the new season opened with performances by Falz and Ycee, setting the tone for another edition of the reality show.

From a pharmacist and lawyer to a civil engineer, OAP, gym instructor, streamer, musician and fashion designer, this year’s BBNaija housemates represent a broad mix of professions. Whether their real-world careers translate into strategy, leadership or entertainment in Biggie’s house remains to be seen as they compete for the ₦160 million grand prize.
