The Nigeria Labour Congress has expressed satisfaction with the efforts of the CBN in releasing cash into the country.
The NLC president, Joe Ajaero in an interview on ChannelsTv on Friday said “As far as our members are concerned nationwide, they are satisfied with minimum doubt which we want to clear within the next two weeks”
Joe also said spoke on the level of bank compliance with cash circulation into the system which he said varies.
He said some are doing more than the others
“All the banks are not [performing] the same; some of the banks are doing relatively better than others. So, we want to monitor the activities of some banks who I may not want to mention here, so that I don’t demarket them.”
The CBN president, Godwin Emefiele had earlier directed banks to work on Saturday and Sundays to enable more circulation of cash in the system.
