Story Attributed to Me on “Hausa Insurgency” is Fake News – Lai Mohammed

Former Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has debunked a report attributed to him on Hausa Insurgency and its alleged sponsors.
Mohammed in a statement said the report quoting him as raising the alarm over a so-called “Hausa Insurgency” and its alleged sponsors is Fake News.
He stated: “It has come to my attention that a fabricated story is circulating on social media, falsely quoting me as raising the alarm over a so-called “Hausa Insurgency” and its alleged sponsors.
“The purported report claims that I made these remarks during an interview with ‘’SPLASHFM 1055” in Ibadan.
“I categorically state that I have never made any comment regarding a “Hausa insurgency” on any platform whatsoever.
“I therefore urge the public to disregard this purported interview entirely. Such fabrications are the product of relentless agents of fake news and deliberate distortion, and they must not be allowed to mislead or create confusion.”
