The Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has assured organized labour of his administration’s unwavering commitment to workers’ welfare .
He stated this at a one-day workshop in Asaba.
Represented by his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA, he emphasized the implementation of worker-friendly policies to enhance productivity and encourage excellence.
The Governor also highlighted his administration’s focus on meaningful development and opportunities for all, urging collective efforts to ensure transparent and responsive governance.
The workshop aimed to foster a harmonious relationship between the government and organized labor for effective service delivery and the advancement of the MORE Agenda, serving as a platform to reinforce cooperation and mutual understanding between the Delta State government and labor unions, reflecting the administration’s dedication to workers’ well-being and efficient service delivery.
