President Bola Tinubu has landed in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State to attend Army annual conference.
Earlier today, the president left the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
The President’s place took off at around 10:35am.
This will be President Tinubu’s first visit to the North-Eastern region of the country since taking the oath of office.
As the special guest of honour, he would attend the Nigerian Army Annual Conference.
According to the President’s itinerary he is expected to make a speech to the soldiers of Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI, a tour of the ongoing Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Maiduguri, and the ceremonial cornerstone-laying for Headquarters 7 Division are all scheduled for the occasion.
