The Campaign Office was officially commissioned by Major General Julius Olakunle Sunday (JOS) Oshanupin (Rtd.), former Commander of the Guards Brigade, who commended the vision behind the movement and urged members to remain committed to grassroots mobilisation and national development.
Among other dignitaries present at the event were Major General Taiwo Durowaiye (Rtd.), former Director of Nigeria Army Farm Limited; Hon. Kobere Jimoh, as well as several political leaders, community stakeholders and supporters of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Speaking during the ceremony, the National Coordinator and Convener of PBAT Vanguard, Amb. Ademola Moribirin described the occasion as “historic and memorable,” noting that the movement, which began over two years ago, has evolved into a credible grassroots platform committed to supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision for national development.
According to Moribirin, PBAT Vanguard has consistently championed community outreach, public enlightenment, stakeholder engagement, grassroots mobilisation, and advocacy for increased citizen participation in governance.
He said: “The commissioning of this office is not merely about opening a building. “It is a symbol of our collective belief in the Renewed Hope Agenda and our determination to deepen grassroots participation in governance.
“It represents a centre for mobilisation, coordination, advocacy, engagement and service to the people.”
As part of the event, 33 coordinators were formally inaugurated to oversee mobilisation efforts across the Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, comprising coordinators representing Ijumu Local Government Area, Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area, and the Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, alongside ward coordinators covering all 30 political wards across the two local government areas.
Charging the newly inaugurated coordinators, the Convener urged them to immediately commence aggressive grassroots mobilisation by taking the message of the Renewed Hope Agenda to every part of the constituency.
The PBAT Vanguard Boss tasked them to move from ward to ward, polling unit to polling unit, and from door to door, educating citizens on the achievements, policies, and programmes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration while encouraging greater participation in the democratic process.
“Our strength lies at the grassroots. “Every coordinator must become an ambassador of the Renewed Hope Agenda, ensuring that our message reaches every household, every polling unit, every ward, and every community,” he said.
The Convener also highlighted some of the administration’s major reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidy, foreign exchange reforms, fiscal and tax reforms, the establishment of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), infrastructure development, and ongoing reforms in the power and security sectors.
While acknowledging that some reforms have presented short-term challenges, he maintained that they are laying the foundation for long-term economic stability, sustainable growth, and national renewal.
He also called for intensified efforts to tackle insecurity across the country, stressing that peace and security remain fundamental to national development.
The Convener paid glowing tribute to Rt. Hon. (Dr.) James Abiodun Faleke, for his continued support for grassroots development and his numerous interventions in infrastructure, empowerment, employment creation, solar electrification, and community development across Kogi State.
Reaffirming the mission of the organisation, he said the newly commissioned Campaign Office would serve as the operational headquarters for grassroots mobilisation, voter education, stakeholder engagement, media advocacy, youth and women empowerment programmes, and strategic political activities.
He further appealed to political leaders, elected representatives, business leaders, and supporters of President Tinubu to support the movement with resources required for effective grassroots operations, including logistics, communication equipment, operational vehicles, campaign buses, outreach materials, office facilities, and media activities.
“The reality is simple,” he said. “A movement that must reach every ward, every polling unit, every community, and every household must be adequately equipped to do so.”
Calling on stakeholders to embrace the vision of the organisation, the Convener declared that the office should be seen not merely as a physical structure but as a platform for service, unity, democratic participation, and grassroots empowerment.
In his remarks, Oyewole Solomon, APC Chairman, Ijumu Local Government, urged the coordinators to take the Renewed Hope message from ward to ward, polling unit to polling unit, and door to door.
