The Nigerian Defence Academy has announced that the screening test for its 78 Regular Course will be conducted nationwide on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
In a statement posted on its official X handle on Tuesday and signed by the Academy Registrar, the institution stated that only candidates who scored 180 and above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board and selected the NDA as their first-choice institution would be eligible to participate in the exercise.
According to the Academy, qualified applicants will receive an email on May 20, 2026, prompting them to choose their preferred state for the screening test.
The NDA explained that the selection process is essential for the allocation of examination centres across the country.
It added that candidates are expected to complete the selection of their preferred test location on or before May 24, 2026.
The Academy advised applicants to select their state of residence as their examination venue, noting that the screening test would be held simultaneously in all states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.
The statement further disclosed that candidates would be notified of their assigned examination centres during the first week of June 2026.
“The selection of location (State) of choice for the test is to be done latest by 24 May 2026,” the statement read.
The NDA also assured candidates that further instructions and updates would be communicated promptly through email, reaffirming its commitment to fairness and equal opportunity for all qualified applicants nationwide.
