Ali Isa JC, the House of Representatives member for Balanga/Billiri Federal Constituency, has explained why his supporters and major stakeholders in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) joined him in droves into the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Ali Isa, until now, the Minority Whip of the Green chamber of the National Assembly, said there was no point sitting on the sidelines while the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya were moving development in an unprecedented level.
According to him, his decision and that of his supporters to join the APC was made easier because of the passion and dedication the duo exhibited in tackling the socio-economic challenges facing the people of Gombe State and Nigeria as a whole.
Describing President Tinubu as a role model, Ali Isa JC said, “His sense of duty and vision is remarkably inspiring. In him I have seen a father leader and partner with whom I can associate with for the betterment of my people”.
He stated also that, “You only need to look at how Governor Inuwa Yahaya has quickly transformed the landscape of Gombe State with new infrastructure, thereby enhancing the beautiful outlook of the State.
“For any progressive minded politician, it becomes too easy to want to associate with such focused leaders and work with them in the interest of the people”, he maintained.
With his new APC membership card in his hand, obtained from his Kindiyo-Cham ward in Balanga LGA, Ali JC did not just move alone to the ruling APC in his constituency, he was accompanied by high profile defectors from the PDP into the APC from the Federal Constituency.
In appreciation of the large crowd that turned out to welcome him into the APC, Hon. Ali Isa JC gifted the Gombe South APC Zonal Chairman and the APC Balanga and Billiri Chairmen, Cars to assist them in movements and coordination of party activities in the Senatorial District.
Other beneficiaries include the twenty APC ward Chairmen of Balanga/Billiri Federal Constituency who were all given a motorcycle each.
Speaker of Gombe State House Assembly, Mohammed Abubakar Luggerewo, who represented Governor Inuwa Yahaya, was full of praises of Hon. Ali Isa JC for exemplary Representation.
According to him, Ali Isa JC brought visible dividends of Democracy to his people and urged the people of Balanga/Billiri to support his return to the House of Representatives in 2027 for more developmental projects in the area.
It is reported that Ali Isa JC has initiated and executed many programmes and projects in his constituency. One of his high points is the bill he initiated for the establishment of the Federal Orthopedic Hospital Billiri.
The bill had an accelerated hearing and was speedily approved in record time and accented to by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The Hospital, the first of its kind in the entire North Eastern part of Nigeria is ready for operation.
