…Agency announces 50% EDC discount, free CAC registration for 100 members

The Association of Young Business Owners in Nigeria, AYBON, has secured partnership support from the Cross River Microfinance and Enterprise Development Agency, MEDA, to scale youth entrepreneurship under the Campus CEO Initiative.
A delegation from AYBON led by National President, Engr. Offiong Ikpeme, and Cross River Chapter President, Idoreyin Adams, met with MEDA management in Calabar to align the association’s programmes with the state’s MSME development agenda and to leverage the Cross River Enterprise Development Centre, CRS-EDC
.
The Director-General of MEDA, Great Ogban, praised AYBON for mobilising young entrepreneurs and restated the agency’s commitment to MSME growth through training, access to finance, mentorship and business development.
To support the association, Ogban announced three interventions which includes, 50 percent discount on enrollment at CRS-EDC for AYBON members, free CAC registration for 100 AYBON member businesses and onboarding of AYBON members onto the MEDA database for easy access to future state interventions.
He urged the AYBON executive to also affiliate with the Calabar Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, CALCCIMA, to open up wider commercial opportunities.
