Reality TV star Phyna has sparked conversation online after candidly admitting she sometimes wishes she were a man due to the pressures placed on women.
In a recent statement, the BBNaija winner said she believes life appears more straightforward for men, especially when it comes to expectations around success and ambition.
According to her, while men are primarily expected to work hard and make money, women often face layers of societal judgment and restrictions.
“I lowkey wish I was a man,” she said. “I feel life is much easier for guys, but for girls, we’ve been stigmatized and there are so many rules and regulations covering us.”
Phyna went on to highlight how these expectations can limit women, adding that it often feels like women are discouraged from dreaming big or stepping outside traditional roles.
