An unidentified man who reportedly jumped into the Lagos Lagoon after parking his car on a bridge has been rescued.
He was rescued by local fishermen who were carrying out their trade at the time the incident happened
A video of the rescue was shared on Instagram on Wednesday by Isaac Fayose, who raised concern about the development and urged Nigerians to check on their loved ones.
“Please, check on your family and friends. This just happened today. Who knows what went wrong,” he wrote.
Details surrounding what led to the incident remain unclear, while authorities are yet to issue an official statement.
The police were yet to confirm the incident as of the time of filing this report.
