An unidentified commercial bus driver on Thursday stripped himself naked while protesting an attempted arrest by officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) along the Ogudu axis of Lagos State.
A video circulating on social media captured the driver attending to his bus by the roadside while resisting efforts by the traffic officials to apprehend him. According to eyewitness accounts, the driver had earlier deflated two of his vehicle’s tyres in an apparent attempt to prevent it from being impounded.
The incident drew significant attention from passersby and motorists, leading to a traffic gridlock along Ogudu Road as the confrontation unfolded.
