The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, on Friday was received in an audience by the President of Guinea Bissau, His Excellency, Umaro Sissoco Embalo.
Odumegwu-Ojukwu who was the Special Envoy of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the West Africa Economic Summit (WAES), delivered his principal’s message to President Embalo.

Ambassador Bianca delivered the Special Invitation from President Tinubu to President Embolo to attend the First West African Economic Summit (WAES) scheduled for 20th to 21st June 2025.
The Envoy informed President Embolo that WAES is a legacy project of President Tinubu, which would revolutionise the integration process in the region.
President Sissoco thanked President Tinubu for the historic move to bring increased momentum to the integration efforts of the region.
He promised to give the Summit his utmost support with a high-quality delegation, which would accompany him to Abuja.
