SEDC Board membership appointment: Dattuwa’s associates commend Tinubu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been commended for appointing Hamma Adama Ali Kumo into the Governing Board of the South East Development Commission (SEDC).

Hamma Adama Ali Kumo, popularly known as Dattuwa, is the current Financial Secretary of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and Dattuwa’s associates described the appointment as a testament of the appointee’s exceptional leadership qualities.

In a congratulatory message to Dattuwa, signed by Hassan Alabura, Chief Executive Officer of Alabura Construction Limited, and made available to our Correspondent, it said Dattuwa deserve the appointment because of his dedication to regional development and commitment to the welfare of the people.

Alabura also praised Dattuwa’s appointment, stating that he has been a strong and influential APC stalwart. He adds, “We are thrilled to hear about Hamma Ali Kumo’s nomination to the SEDC Governing Board. This appointment is a well-deserved recognition of his tireless efforts to promote development and growth in the region”.

He expressed confidence that Kumo will make valuable contributions to the commission and drive meaningful growth in the region with his wealth of experience and expertise.

Our correspondent reports that Kumo was appointed into the board alongside other notable personalities, including Emeka Atuma as the head of the SEDC governing board and Mark C. Okoye as the Managing Director/CEO of SEDC.

Alabura urged the Senate to expedite the confirmation process of the appointees, noting that the SEDC has a critical role to play in driving development and growth in the South East region.

“As a grassroot mobiliser, Kumo’s appointment is a plus to the APC in view of his loyalty hard work and generosity and I believe his appointment will add value to the commission and the APC Government in general.”, he said.
