The Gombe Network of Civil Society (GONET) celebrates this year’s Eid el-Kabir festival with a prayer for peace, prosperity, and unity in Gombe State and the beloved nation, Nigeria.

In a congratulatory message to the Muslim community on the joyous occasion made available to our Correspondent by it’s Chairman, Yusuf Ibrahim 3,000 prayed that this Sallah brings peace, joy, and blessings to every home.

Ibrahim 3,000 said Sallah is a time for reflection, gratitude, and community adding, “It reminds us of the values of sacrifice, compassion, and generosity.

“We encourage all citizens to embody these values in their daily lives and to work together towards building a harmonious and inclusive society”, he stated.

The Chairman used the occasion to call on Government at all levels to implement citizen-friendly policies that prioritize the welfare and well-being of all Nigerians.

According to him, It is crucial that policies are designed and executed with the best interests of the people in mind, ensuring that every citizen has access to basic amenities, quality healthcare, education, and economic opportunities.

“GONET remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering a better life for the citizens of Gombe State and Nigeria.

“We will continue to advocate for good governance, accountability, and sustainable development. Our dedication to supporting the voiceless and vulnerable communities remains unwavering and we are committed to working collaboratively with Government bodies, civil society organizations, and the private sector to achieve our shared goals.

“As we celebrate Sallah, let us also recommit ourselves to the collective effort of nation-building. Together, we can create a brighter and more prosperous future for all,” he advised.
