George Finidi has announced his starting lineup for Monday 10 June 2024 qualifying match against Republic of Benin with three changes to the team that played against South Africa.

The 2026 World Cup qualifying match comes up at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan.

Terem Moffi, Samuel Chukwueze, and Raphael Onyedika being brought in.

Chippa United Stanley retained hos position as the first choice goalkeeper, with the defensive department consisting of Bright Osayi-Samuel, Semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey and Benjamin Tanimu.

Finidi decided against risking Manchester City academy product Fisayo Dele-Bashiru from the start after he came off with a niggle during the second half of the clash with Bafana Bafana.

The midfield is made up of Onyedika and two players with Premier League experience namely Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi.

Regarding the forwards, Kelechi Iheanacho finds himself on the bench after struggling in a winger role on matchday three.

In what looks like a 4-3-3 formation, Moffi leads the line while the left-footed Samuel Chukwueze will feature as an inverted winger with Ademola Lookman occupying the other flank.

Kickoff at the the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan is 1700 hours Nigerian time.
