There is palpable fears in Port Harcourt the Rivers State capital as there was mild explosion on Monday morning occasioned by tear gas over alleged planned impeachment Of Gov. Fubara
This is coming over the heels of fire incident that engulf the complex on Sunday.
All these incidents are happening amidst rumours of an impending impeachment procedure against the state Governor Sim Fubara as the House on Monday removed its leader, Edison Ehie.
According to impeccable sources, former Governor Nyesom Wike is alleged to be behind the plot.
The governor stormed the Assembly Complex on Monday morning while House members fled for safety as tear gas was fired outside the Complex.
A protest is also ongoing outside the Complex as of the time of filing this report.
There has been political rift between Fubara and his predecessor Nyesom Wike who is the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister over the former stance to be loyal to the leadership of the PDP.
