..says PDP is a “busybody”
The PDP’s case against Kassim Shettima’s alleged double nomination has been dismissed by the Supreme Court.
The court upheld the lower courts’ ruling that the PDP did not have the standing to bring the case, as it was an internal matter for the APC.
Justice Adamu Jauro, who delivered the judgement, called the PDP a busybody and awarded costs of Two Million Naira against the party.
The Justices also criticised the PDP’s conduct as misleading and sad. The case was dismissed for lack of merit.
