Afrobeat star, Seun Kuti, has surrendered himself to the police, accompanied by his lawyer and a family member.
It was gathered that they are presently at the Lagos state police command headquarters.
The IGP of the Nigerian Police Force, Usman Alkali Baba, had ordered Seun’s arrest on May 13, after a video of him assaulting a police officer went viral.
Seun was not at home when the police visited his residence on Sunday to apprehend him.
However, his lawyer, Femi Falana, revealed on Sunday that Seun would report to the police on Monday, which he did.
Currently, the police are interrogating Seun regarding the incident.
