The Nigerian Airforce plane and Air Peace have airlifted the first batch of 376 evacuated Nigerians from Egypt, NewsSpecng learnt.

The planes are expected to touch down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at about 11.pm Wednesday night.

The Nigeria Airforce plane and Air Peace conveying 376 passangers departed Aswan Airport, Egypt at about 5pm after some hours of delay. 

According to Military situation room, “the C130 Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) is 11:40 pm today. The Aircraft will pack at NAF EAG Hanger” while Airpeace Expected Time of Arrival is 11.13pm. 

Aswan is about five hours flight to Abuja in a normal flight.
