.. slapped with six points on licence
Manchester United superstar, Marcus Rashford has been slapped with a fine for speeding.
Rashford may be in imperious form for Manchester United this season, but the England international has had the book thrown at him after admiting to speeding
The England international was believed to be behind the wheel of his Mercedes G VRM when it was caught exceeding the speed limit in Manchester City centre by around 20mph in May last year. While the fine would not have even dented his wages, his heavy foot on the accelerator has still cost him.
Rashford admitted to speeding in Manchester Magistrates Court and was subsequently fined £574. He was clocked surpassing the speed limit in May last year, but his punishment has only just come through.
The 25-year-old has also been handed six points on his licence as a result of the incident. Various reports have indicated Rashford has sold the car he was caught speeding in.
