2023: 5,593 PVcs collected so far in Edo 0f1

The total number of Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs collected in Edo State stood at 5593, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC said.

The figure which covers the 18 Local.Government Areas of the state, according to INEC was as at Friday, 20 January 2023. 

The breakdown shows Ikpoba Okha with 1274 Akoko Edo 74, Egor 440, Esan Central 122, Esan North East 261 Esan South East 122 Esan West 287, Etsako Central 70, Etsako East 115, Etsako West 297, Igueben 53, Oredo 1108, Orhionmwon 217.

Others are;  Ovia North East 543, Ovia South West 228, Owan East 81, Owan West 111, Uhunmwode 190 and Igueben 53. 

The collection of PVC, the Commission explained, is ongoing, every day, including Saturdays and Sundays (excluding public holidays) from 9am to 3pm in every RA (Ward). 

According to INEC, the process  will continue until Sunday, January 22

The PVC collection will revert to the INEC Offices in the LGAs from Monday, January 23 to Sunday, January 29, being the last day for the collection
