Gunmen who operated at a satellite town of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, have reached out to close associates of their captives.
The kidnappers who stormed a suburb of Kubwa abducted four men in the early hours of Sunday, 1 January 2023, according to sources are asking for N100 million each for the release of the four victims.
A source told NewsSpecng on Monday that the kidnappers called a church member of one of their victims demanding for N100 million ransome.
It would be recalled that gunmen suspected to be kidnappers stormed the suburb in Kubwa and surrounded the building before forcing their way in. The gunmen, some eyewitness noted were specific and went for their victims.
One of the eyewitness who does not want to be mentioned in the media said, ”when they came they knew those that they wanted to kidnap and they surrounded their houses.
“One of their victims was stabbed in the presence of his pregnant wife and despite the wailling of the wife the gunmen did not burge as they carried him along with three others to the hills and disappear into thin air.”
