The Director General, Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Victoria Akai, has bagged the Women Affairs award, NewsSpecng learnt.
The Minister, Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development (FMWASD), Dame Pauline Tallen conferred the award of excellence on the DG.
This, Tallen said, is in recognition of the DG’s selfless and outstanding contributions to Women’s participation in business, governance and decision making.
The Minister, while giving the award to Akai at the 22nd National Council for Women Affairs, Abuja, 2022 stated that the award of excellence was in addition to other various laudable recognitions that she has achieved in her service to Nigeria and humanity.
The DG ACCI, Dr Akai is a professional with a proven track record of delivering results and facilitating change on a large scale.
ACCI Executive Council, members, management and staff have congratulated her on the well deserved award.
