The leading opposition party in the country, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday went a step further on their opposition to the nomination of the Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, for appointment as a National Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC representing Delta State.
PDP leadership stormed the National Assembly protesting her nomination.
The party urged the lawmakers to reject her nomination as she is a card carrying member of the ruling party, the All Progressive Congress (APC).
The party also said it was going to do everything possible to ensure that four of its lawmakers that recently decamped to the All Progressives Congress will be made to lose their seats in the Senate.
