FIFA clears eight Nigeria born footballers to switch nationalities to Nigeria

Nigeria push to see some of its footballers abroad with dual nationalities is yielding fruits.

FIFA has cleared eight new players with dual nationalities to switch allegiance to the senior national team of Nigeria.

It means that the cleared players are now available for selection ahead of the Super Eagles next two games in March 2021.

The list according to gathering include Fulham’s forward Ademola Lookman is on top of the list, Jordan Torunarigha Hertha BSC, Nathan Tella Southampton FC, Tosin Adarabioyo Fulham FC, Ovie Ejaria Reading FC, Noni Madueke PSV, Sheyi Ojo Cardiff City and Ike Ugbo Cercle Brugge.

They have now joined the likes of Victor Moses, Ola Aina, Alex Iwobi ans the rest who are now regulars with the country’s senior foorball team.
