The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Wednesday night, announced 180 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
Total confirmed cases in Nigeria is now 64,516. Total discharged case is 60,737, Total deaths – 1,162.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-74, Oyo-41, FCT-19, Kaduna-19, Bauchi-12, Ogun-7, Rivers-4, Cross River-2 and Edo-2.
The agency said two new deaths occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure increased from 1,160 on Tuesday to 1,162 on Wednesday.
The data from the agency disclosed that 404 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 60,737 while 2,617 cases were still active in the country.
The global infection is 52,441, 490 cases while 36,677,514 have recovered and discharged. The death rate as at 11th November 2020 stood at 1, 289,490.
Currently infected cases are 14,474,228. Of this number, 99% which is 14,379,164 are in mild condition while 95,064 which is 1% of currently infected cases are serious or critical.
