New season recruit, Ben Chilwell help Chelsea see off Cryst Palace in a four goal thriller at the Stamford bridge.
Chilwell marked his 100th Premier League game – and first for Chelsea – with a goal and an assist as Chealse puts in a 4-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
It was the former Leicester star 100th appearance in the competition . The £45m summer acquisition break the deadlock early in the second half and also made an assist for Kurt Zouma to double the lead 66 minutes in.
Jorginho privided the remianing two goals from the spot. The first for the Brazilain Italian star came after Abraham had been tripped in the box by Tyrick Mitchell.
Sakho also gave Chelsea the second penalty when fell Havertz and Jorginho was able to score an almost identical spot-kick with eight minutes left.
Tammy Abraham had wanted to take the penalty only for Cesar Azpilicueta to take the ball from him.
Lots were expected from Palace who had already beaten Southampton and Manchester United this season, but they just did not click.
