Low turnout of voters was recorded on Saturday’s Council Polls in the Federal Capital Territory.
Besides, the voting exercise did not start at the scheduled time.
According to the Independent National Electoral Commission the elections were to commence by 8am.
However, while the turnout was low, voter accreditation did not commence until 8.30am at AYA.
Most of the polling units visited were deserted as at the time NewsSpecng went round the area with only INEC officials sited.
The street of Asokoro was also deserted as security personnel enforced the no movement order.
