Borno state Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum distributes additional 63 vehicles to Civilian Joint Taskforce, Hunters Vigilante as well as 30 of the vehicles were allocated to the ten sectors of the CJTF with each getting 3 vehicles.
Six vehicles went to hunters while organisations that formed the Anti Social Vices Squad that include NSCDC, DSS, Correctional services and immigration each got two with NAPTIP getting one while Rapid Response Squad got fifteen vehicles.
The vehicles are to enhance security and curb criminalities within Maiduguri and environs.
Governor Zulum who appreciated them for their sacrifices to restore peace to the state also charged them to use the vehicles for the intended purposes.
