President Bola Tinubu, Monday announced a cash reward of $100,000 to each Super Falcons player.
The Super Falcon defeated the host country Morocco 3-2 to win their 10th WAFCON tlurnament on Saturday.
The team areived Abuja to a rousing welcome. They were received at the presidential villa by President Tinubu.
In addition, each player will also get a three-bedroom apartment at the Renewed Hope Housing estate in Abuja, and they will also be conferred with National Awards, receiving an OON (Order of the Officer of the Niger).
The 11-member technical crew will get $50,000 each, and other benefits accruing to the Super Falcons team.
Kwara state Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has also promised the Super Falcons team, including the technical members, the sum of N10million each.
