The Executive Director of Karlos Community Development and Empowerment Initiative, Comrade Sani Abdulsalam, has commended Hon. Fatuhu Mohammed, the Executive Secretary of the National Agricultural Seed Council (NASC), for his exemplary leadership in transforming Nigeria’s national seed system and advancing agricultural development.
Comrade Abdulsalam noted that under Hon. Mohammed’s stewardship, the Council has made remarkable progress in improving the efficiency of seed certification and quality control processes—resulting in greater availability and accessibility of high-quality seeds for Nigerian farmers.
He also applauded the Executive Secretary’s commitment to fostering collaboration among key stakeholders in the seed value chain, as well as his efforts to strengthen the Council’s financial sustainability and capacity-building initiatives—both of which are crucial for long-term agricultural productivity and national food security.
