The Gombe State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has commenced a two weeks training of fourty-eight (48) private security guards from thirteen (13) different security outfits.
According to the State Commandant of the
NSCDC, Jibrin Idris, the training, which is taking place at Federal Secretariat Gombe, is part of efforts aimed at instilling discipline and professionalism on the guards while discharging their duties.
Represented by DCC Abubakar Y. Muri, the Commandant highlighted the objectives of the training, emphasizing the need for discipline and charged the trainees to take the program seriously.

Buhari Sa’ad, the Public Relations Officer of the Command in a statement shared to newsmen said the opening ceremony of the training had in attendance, DCC Jimoh Otaru, Head of Private Guards Companies, and other senior officers of the Command.
