The National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has announced former Senate President, David Mark, as its new interim national chairman.
The Chairman of the party Ralph Nwosu who stepped down for Mark to assume the interim position also announced former Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, as party National Secretary.
He stated that the journey toward adopting the latest leadership spanned over 18 months and involved 12 meetings of the National Executive Committee (NEC) and the National Working Committee (NWC) convened by the coalition’s leadership.
In attendance were former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, Rotimi Amaechi, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, and other leaders.
