Breaking: 62 houses set ablase…One person injured in Taraba Farmers-Herders clash

The chairman of Bali Local Government Area, Aboki Dauda of Taraba State has confirmed the burning of sixty two houses and one person injured in Farmers-Herders clash.

He said the incident trouble started when a woman went to the pond to fetch water, where she was allegedly beaten by the herders and this lead to the farmers mobilizing and retaliated which later snowballed to free for all fight.

The State Government has however said it will not tolerate any breach of peace in the form of communal clashes

Some residents say the attack followed a dispute about a source of water located between Tor Bali and Atongo villages
