President Muhammadu Buhari has called on the protesting youths to suspend protests across the nation.
In a nationwide broadcast on Thursday night, Buhari said the protest has turned violent as it have been hijacked by hoodlums.
The President said: “I therefore call on our youths to discontinue the street protests and constructively engage government in finding solutions.
“Your voice has been heard loud and clear and we are responding.”
