Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), has congratulated Mr. Fadare on his election into the Nova Scotia House of Assembly in Canada.
Dabiri-Erewa described the victory as a win for all Nigerians in the diaspora and Africans at large.
Adegoke Fadare, the Nigerian cybersecurity expert and politician, made history by becoming the first Nigerian to be elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly.
Mr. Fadare, represents the Clayton Park West ward, and won the seat under the Progressive Conservative Association in the 2024 General Election held in November.
Dabiri-Erewa commended Mr. Fadare for displaying true sportsmanship during the electoral exercise and advised him to use his expertise to improve the socio-economic level of his constituency.
She also said “Mr. Fadare’s election success is seen as a testament to the faith of his constituency in his competence to navigate the next course of affairs in their area.
“As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and published author, Mr. Fadare has a wealth of experience in community engagement, public service, and healthcare advocacy.
Mr. Fadare’s victory marks an important milestone for Nigerians in the diaspora and Africans seeking to make a positive impact.”
