Coach Finidi George has stepped down from his position as Head coach of the Men National football team, the Super Eagle.
Finidi is about a month on the job as the head coach.
His resignation follows the Eagles recent poor outing in the last two World Cup qualifying matches with South Africa and Repunlic of Benin.
Ex-Super Eagles media officer, Toyin Ibitoye, made this known in a post on X.com on Saturday.
He wrote: “News just in. Finidi George #FinidiGeorge_FG has resigned from his #NGSuperEagles manager position.”
Before his resignation Finidi recorded a win, two loses and a draw in the four matches his outing.
