The Chairman of the Nigerian in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa has urged Nigerians in Diaspora to contribute towards supporting out of school children, so as to make a difference in their lives.

Dabiri-Erewa made the call during a fund raising organised by IA Foundation to return the children back to school.

She urged all well meaning Nigerians and those in Diaspora to join the effort at addressing the situation.

She also commended Mrs. Ibironke Adeagbo, the CEO, IA Foundation, for the laudable initiative of complementing Government efforts in addressing the problem.

In her remark, Adeagbo solicited for support as she believed that the children are the future of the country.

She stressed that returning them to school would alleviate poverty, reduce insecurity and result in enhanced skills which could be used to power the economy.
