The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Makurdi Zonal Command, has arrested five suspected internet fraudsters in the Makurdi metropolis of Benue State.
This was disclosed in a statement on the official X handle of the Commission on Thursday, November 23.
According to the statement, the suspects were arrested on Thursday, November 23, following credible intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet-related offenses.
The suspects are, Stanley Tochukwu, Desmond Tochukwu, Dennis Emeka, George Ebuka and Arinze Odo.
Items recovered from the suspects include phones, a power bank, ATM cards, and cash.
