As protest rocks major cities of the country, members of the organized labour are demanding from the government the true status of the country’s four refineries.
They want the government to tell the people when the refineries will begin to work in full capacity.
This was stated by the immediate past president of the Nigerian Labour Congress president, Comrade Ayuba Waba during the organized labour protest in Abuja on Wednesday.
He said ” the elites must tell us when our Refineries will begin to work”
Ayuba added that the only way to get the country out of the issue of subsidy is when our refineries begin to function.
“What will address the issue is actually the issue of production. But the elites , not more than 10% of them don’t want production.”
“Therefore, he must continue to insist that our refinery must work.” He added.
