The high court sitting in Abuja on Thursday issued a seven day ultimatum to the Department Security Service, DSS to either charge the suspended Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele to Court or set release him.
NewsSpecng learnt that Justice Hamza Muazu of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court issued the one-week ultimatum to the SSS to do the needful.
Emefiele’s counsel, Joseph Dawodu, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has stated that they will be applying for bail and are optimistic that it will be granted.
