No fewer than 200 Nigerian irregular migrants are expected be evacuated back home from Libya this evening, NewsSpecng gathered.
The migrants will be arriving at about 10 pm aboard a chartered flight from Tripoli.
Many Nigerians, especially irregular migrants havee been stranded in Libya since the demise of the country’s strongman, Mamman Gadafi.
The Spokesperson, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ferdinand Nwonye confirm the arrival to our correspondent.
He said, ” Yes we are expecting some Nigerian irregular migrants from Tripoli, Libya. About 200 of them and they will be arriving aboard a chartered flight by 10 pm.”
