The former governor of Ekiti state , Ayodele Fayose has said he was the one who gave tinubu the votes in the February 25 presidential election.
Fayose revealed this in a program on AriseTv on Thursday morning .
“The votes you saw at Ekiti state, I was the one that galvanized the votes for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu”
“We and the G5 governors decided to support a southern candidate that’s why I decided to support Asiwaju”
“If you noticed , Ortom supported Obi and I supported Asiwaju because we all believe in southern candidacy”
When asked if he isn’t worried the PDP would sanction him for anti party activities, he said he isn’t scared of the party.
“I am not a beggar of any political party, can you imagine what would have happened if Obi didn’t leave the party or Kwankwaso?”
‘If you join their votes together , we won’t be talking about Tinubu”
He noted that the party couldn’t manage the affairs of the party.
“I supported the governor in Lagos because the PDP didn’t have a candidate”
Fayose said the PDP candidate in Lagos was just a photographer and not a serious candidate.
“Those ones are doing theatre, they didn’t have a candidate in Lagos ”
Fayose also noted that he supported the governor of Oyo state , Seyi Makinde.
