Chelsea New signing , Joao Felix was awarded a red card in his debut on Thursday in their clash against Fulham.
Felix started the game brightly recording about 5 shots on target more than any player on the pitch.
Unfortunately, the 23-year-old forward could not have made a worse start to his time in West London after he was shown a straight red card for a wild high lunge on Kenny Tete, leaving referee David Coote with no choice but to dismiss him.
Chelsea had pulled one back through Kalidou Koulibaly just after the break following Willian’s first-half opener against his former club before the red card.
Felix will now serve a three-match ban and that will mean he misses the crunch Premier League clash with Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday, January 21
Chelsea couldn’t hold off the pressure by Fulham as they came out victorious with a 2-1 win over Chelsea.
