The Ambassador of China to Nigeria, Cui Jianchun has said that the All Progressives Congress, APC and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP can learn from the Communist Party of China, CPC.

Jianchun stated this during an interview with journalists at the ‘Learning from the CPC’s History and Creating a Brighter Future’ in Abuja.

He said APC, PDP must unite and lead Nigerians in working ceaselessly for a better life as the CPC has no special interests of its own. Both parties must “continue working to promote the building of a human community with a shared future.”

He said that APC, PDP can offer space for big businesses from other countries, like the CPC is currently  doing, so that its citizens can benefit from the cooperation. The CPC has acquired wealth of experience through its endeavors over the past 100 years and during more than 70 years of governance.

Jianchun also explained that “the CPC is always learning from other parties in China. Since 1978, the CPC opened door to international community which enables them to learn from the big powers.”

The CPC has travelled over 100 years of struggle, and looking ahead to the bright prospects for the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. At the time of its founding, the CPC had just over 50 members but today, with more than 95 million members in a country of more than 1.4 billion people, it is the largest governing party in the world and enjoys tremendous international influence.
