Senator Philip Aduda, representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Thursday, received stakeholders from the FCT at Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi International conference Center, Minna, Niger state, for the zonal public hearing of the North Central zone on 1999 constitutional amendment.
Senator Aduda, while at the event, said the essence of the conference was to provide avenue for Nigerians across sectors to make and present memorandum on the constitutional challenges they are facing that needed the constitutional backing or amendment.
He said he decided to mobilized the FCT natives across board to deliberate and harmonize on the different challenges facing Abuja Original Inhabitants since the siting of the Federal Capital Abuja.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Senator Aduda earlier paid a homage to Nigeria’s former Head of State, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida at his Minna Hill-top mansion. (NAN)
